Design Tree Engineering is a Minnesota corporation with offices in Alexandria, Minnesota and St. Cloud, Minnesota. The firm was founded in 2006 as a Mechanical Engineering firm. Today Design Tree Engineering not only provides Mechanical Engineering services, but has added Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Land Surveying services to make Design Tree Engineering a full service company.
Design Tree Engineering creates and manages complete building projects with expertise and sophistication. From comprehensive planning through construction and completion, Engineers and Project Managers personally oversee all phases of development. Design Tree accepts projects ranging in size from small residential construction to large industrial construction and can handle an entire community’s infrastructure needs. All projects receive full professional services and exacting attention to meet client needs.

Shane founded Design Tree Engineering in 2006 with the intention of providing superior client service and engineering quality. He graduated from Jefferson High School, Alexandria, MN and then went on to North Dakota State University and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. He has a Minnesota Professional Engineering license (MN#44935) and is also licensed in more than fifteen states. Shane has been Principal-In-Charge of many commercial and industrial projects. He believes that Quality Control is the number one priority for any project and should be managed throughout the project. |

Dan joined Design Tree in 2008 as Principal to lead the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Departments. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and has been a Consulting Engineer (MN #23897) for public and private clients since 1990. His experience relates to all aspects of projects from the preliminary design phase through construction. Dan has worked with several consulting firms from small, local firms to an international consulting firm with 90 offices worldwide. This breadth of employment history has allowed him to serve communities from 50 residents to the City of Minneapolis and understands the need for experience, expertise, and a boundless desire to provide top-notch service. |
